Music
The Music department is beginning to buzz. Pupils are beginning to sing around school on their way to other lessons.
Year 5 are learning about rhythm and being encouraged to practice their skills at home!
Year 6 are learning to use all of their fingers and thumbs when playing the keyboards, it is quite a challenge.
Year 7 are learning how to put on a class performance, they are thoroughly enjoying this experience and their voices and instrumental skills are in great form.
Year 8 are having a fantastic time putting together their own advert; could well be on for an Oscar winning performance.
Alongside all this music clubs are picking up with good attendance in Orchestra, Chamber choir, Blues Band and Folk Band. After half term we hope to add a few more clubs in order to widen the opportunity here at Horringer Court Middle School.
It is certainly buzzing in the Music Department!
